TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF CARTAGENA, A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTING OF SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESEARCH PERSONNEL GROUP III IN THE RESEARCH AREA OF IMPLEMENTATION AND VALIDATION OF FUNDAMENTAL DATA PROCESSING AND MACHINE LEARNING SOLUTIONS IN CONNECTED MOBILITY IOT SCENARIOS. (CALL CODE C-007/26).

TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: Data analysis and processing technician.
SUBJECT AREA: Computer science.
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY: GROUP III. Technical Specialist (High School Diploma, Level II Vocational Training or equivalent).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Baccalaureate in Science and Technology, or equivalent.
In the case of degrees obtained abroad (including EU degrees), candidates must provide proof that they hold the corresponding validation or credential certifying, where applicable, the equivalence of their degree.
Other required qualifications: be pursuing a university degree in Data Science and Engineering or Computer Engineering.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: The position will be part-time, and the workweek will be 12 hours, carried out from Monday to Thursday.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 7.901,88 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Implementation and validation of fundamental data processing and machine learning solutions in connected mobility IoT scenarios.
DURATION: The term of this contract shall be linked to the budgetary availability of the aforementioned line of research. Current R&D&I activity: ‘Orchestration and planning of multi-party networks for reliable and secure connected mobility: multi-RAT planning and operation’, reference PID2023-148104OB C42, funded by MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF, EU. Budget item 30.05.18.9808 541A 642.10 (code: 2024/00196/001).
INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: Immediate.
TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:
Application of automated data processing techniques, use of learning models to predict variables of interest based on massive data collection, improvement of telematic problems using Artificial Intelligence.
PLACE OF WORK: GIRTEL laboratory, ELDI.

MERITS TO BE ASSESSED AND EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Academic qualifications (50%): the academic record corresponding to the required degree in Data Science and Engineering or Computer Engineering will be assessed.
