Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and ensures the meticulous implementation and continuous assessment of guest service standards.
- Leads assigned shifts end-to-end, including bar opening and closing procedures, shift briefings, handovers, and real-time decision-making during peak service.
- Takes full ownership of bar operations during assigned shifts, acting as the senior point of accountability for service delivery, team performance, and guest experience.
- Maintains an effective bar service with an emphasis on precision and efficient service, in line with Paradiso Ibiza's world-class service standards.
- Showcases an in-depth knowledge of all bar beverages to verify their preparation according to recipe and presentation, as well as educates bar team members on the correct beverage standard.
- Contributes creatively to cocktail execution, presentation, and experiential moments, upholding Paradiso Ibiza's reputation as a globally recognised destination for innovative mixology within Pacha Ibiza.
- Ensures targeted bar training programmes are delivered, supporting consistent cocktail execution and service standards.
- Coaches, mentors, and supports Bar Team Members through on-the-job feedback, skill development, and performance guidance to maintain consistently exceptional standards.
- Leads an award-winning service team dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Manages team dynamics and resolves operational or interpersonal issues swiftly and professionally, maintaining calm, control, and focus in a high-pressure nightclub environment.
- Sets up the bar in acccordance with Pacha Ibiza's standards of operations to optimise guest experience.
- Identifies VIP guests and provides them with personalised attention and service.
- Acts as the primary escalation point for bar-related guest concerns, resolving service issues confidently and decisively to protect the integrity of the guest experience.
- Manages a sophisticated Bar Service, offering beverages that elevate the guest experience and adhere to stringent alcoholic beverage licensing regulations.
- Supports inventory management processes, including stock rotation, wastage reduction, breakage reporting, and adherence to approved portioning and pour-cost controls.
- Demonstrates strong commercial awareness, balancing speed of service, product quality, and cost control to protect margins while elevating the guest experience.
- Champions Compliance with Licensing Regulations and hotel procedures pertaining to the bar, including alcoholic beverage service.
- Ensures responsible alcohol service at all times, proactively managing intoxication risks and aligning with nightclub safety, security, and duty-of-care protocols.
- Works closely with Floor Managers, Hosts, Security, and VIP Teams to ensure seamless coordination between bar operations and the wider Pacha Ibiza experience.
- Maintains clear communication with the Group Beverage Director, providing operational feedback, training insights, and performance observations to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of 1-2 years of professional cocktail experience as a Bar Supervisor within a luxury hotel or upscale nightclub destination is preferred.
- A bartending certification or related professional training is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of a diverse and exhaustive range of beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
- Robust organisational skills and exceptional multi-tasking skills to efficiently and accurately manage multiple orders and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sanitisation protocols and cleaning techniques, especially related to kitchen equipment, storage areas and food safety standards.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the venue.
- A proactive nature, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail, ensures every aspect of the operation is perfectly curated.
- Professional appearance, always adhering to Paradiso Ibiza's grooming standards and maintaining a polished demeanour.
- Must hold the Legal Right to work in Europe, including any required visas or work permits, in full compliance with local regulations.
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a definite plus.
- Personally settled on the island with accommodation already arranged is a must.
