This role will manage the Collection Hub located in Rubi, Spain supporting multiple countries and businesses across EMEA and USCA. This individual will also supervise credit management for select countries within EMEA. This leadership position will lead a team of collection, country credit managers and credit specialists that support country credit managers, while improving and standardizing processes and implementing best practices. This position will execute Credit Policy to ensure a high-level of compliance, build strong business relationships, and be a participating member of EMEA, USCA, and global leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and management and development of EMEA country credit managers (currently: Spain, Germany, Portugal)
* Supervision and management of collections hub and development of a COE for EMEA and USCA
* Credit management performance and driving risk management principles
* Collection strategy and processes management (standardization, policies, dunning, systems)
* Timely reporting to stakeholders, aging reviews, bad debt reviews, customer account reconciliation
* Credit insurance usage and adherence to policy (coverage, claims, risk assessment)
* Implement and follow PPG process & procedures (credit policies and procedures, dispute management, and standardization)
* Build and improve relationships with various businesses, country credit managers and commercial teams
* Internal controls compliance and internal/external audit support
* Follow, recommend, and apply best practices for ERP systems
Qualification and skills needed to be successful in this role:
* Finance/Credit/Business education degree
* Previous credit or collection experience is a plus (Credit Manager certification valued)
* Drive change and process improvements
* Previous management/leadership experience of a diverse team
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various customers and business partners in EMEA and USCA
* Excellent attention to detail
* Possess the ability to work independently and manage conflicting demands
* Strong, dynamic personality able to challenge views of stakeholders in a constructive and professional manner
* Demonstrate a supportive, professional approach to customer service, collections, and credit management
* Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills are essential; experience with Oracle and/or SAP would be desirable.
* Ability to identify and act on issues as they arise in a timely manner, prioritizing as appropriate
