Multinational Japanese company ( Riso Kagaku Corporation ) is looking for a “Credit and Sales Administrator” to join our shared service centre based in Barcelona. The main responsibilities of the “Credit and Sales Administrator” will be the credit control, cash collection, customer contracts profitability analysis and MIF (Machines In the Field) management for our German subsidiary.Reporting to the Riso Deutschland Financial Controller, the Credit and Sales administrator is also expected to assist copy contract invoicing tasks and the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting.

In order to be successful for the role a proficiency level of German it is required as well as experience in sales administration and credit management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* Credit management: assessing creditworthiness inquiries, setting credit limits, monitoring customer payments, and releasing orders.
* Monitoring of Accounts Receivable and enforcement of payment collection preparing reminders incl. cooperation with debt collection agencies and lawyers.
* Registration of insolvent receivables with the court.
* Cash collection processes: booking and monitoring incoming payments.
* Management of regular direct debits.
* Customer Master Data maintenance.
* Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
* Monthly reporting of debtors and overdue balances.
* Contracts and MIF (Machines in the Field) management: ensuring integrity and accuracy of copy contracts invoicing; profitability checks and analysis customer by customer; support and back up for contracts invoicing processes.
* Dealing with Leasing companies for customer contracts agreements. Ensuring accuracy of leasing companies invoicing.
* Customers contracts profitability analysis and monthly reporting to local management.
* Collaboration in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
* Support FC during budget processes with the preparation of contracts budget.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required

* Experience in sales administration and credit management.
* Proficiency level of German (ideally native language) and Advanced level of English are a must. Any other language will be a plus.
* Familiar with ERP environments and Microsoft office package (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
* Excellent multitasker with good communication and time management skills.
* Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
