An opportunity for an *Operational Advisor for Spanish FCAS* has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
Contributing to the spanish FCAS, as part of the future European Defence for the next decades is a great opportunity! We offer an exciting position in Getafe, and the future position holder will be part of an international team working on the Operational Requirements of several european customers.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Maturation of operational requirements of the customers (e.G. via coordination of customer-industry workshops)
* Definition of functional requirements in a multi disciplinary approach
* Contribution to the Spanish FCAS consistency by providing the operational voice of the Spanish customer to our teams
* Elaboration of a technical concept, feasibility and solution design in collaboration with Engineering taking into account multiple requirements in a complex and transnational stakeholder environmen t
* Influence a coherent Spanish FCAS/ SoS roadmap, by a trade-off between realistic solutions and innovation together with the SoS lead, Portfolio teams and Engineering
* Uses the operational language to tell the "Spanish FCAS story" to the end users in alignment and support of Marketing, National PMs, Campaign, Communication and Public Affairs
* Provide advice to the Future Air Power PMs, Pillar PMs and Chief Engineers in terms of operational / technical strategy and enhances synergies on all working levels
*SKILLS*
* Several years of working experience in the Spanish customer environment, ideally as fighter pilot.
* Excellent understanding of various disciplines within the life-cycle of a product covering development, production and support including support functions
* Experience and understanding of Airbus DS portfolio having worked within AD PLs (Military Aircraft, UAS, CI, Space Systems)
* Inter-cultural openness (experience in international co-operation programmes)
* Flexibility (work in evolving and changing environment, ready to travel and in multinational teams)
