**Buyer (Temporary)****About the Role**We're looking for a temporary Buyer position for 8 months to cover a maternity leave.This role will be responsible for buying goods/ services cross locations (mills, factories or offices) and executing procurement tactical tasks according to strategy while ensuring high quality master data management.The position will be located in our **Valls site.****What You Will Do**- Manage risk and lead negotiations for all local categories across locations, using appropriate e-sourcing tools and techniques.- Ensure appropriate contingency plans are in place in accordance to procurement policies and procedures.- Align with requester on missing specification and clarify user requirements relating to free-text requests (one-time purchases)- Support Business Partnering to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organize trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings.- Identify suppliers as per the category instructions (preferred supplier list) and execute quick RFQ.- Ensure compliance with Essity procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions.- Ensure high quality of Vendor Master Data and ensure an up-to-date source list (Contract/ Catalog /Purchase Info Records) for local suppliers- Provide help to the procurement organization in Allo site, and lead some projects in that plant as well.**Who You Are**- You have a University Degree.- Minimum of 3 years within a procurement buying role.- You must understand the purchasing process and to be familiar with purchasing terminology.- You are fluent English.- Competent in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.- SAP Experience is desirable.- Effective communication skills (written and oral).- Strong customer service focus.**What We Can Offer You**:At Essity, we believe everyone's learning and professional development is unique and want to empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.Collaborative and Inclusive Culture | Empowering & Engaged Leaders | Working with Powerful Purpose & Sustainable Impact | Learning and Growing in your Career | Supporting Well-being & Sustainable Working Life | Life-changing Innovations | Competitive Total rewardsEssity-FR**Application End Date**:09 oct 2024**Job Requisition ID**:Essity246955
