Job Description
Our client is expanding their High Speed Interface function and is looking for an experienced High Speed Interface Design Team Lead to drive architecture, RTL direction and team development within advanced SoC programs.
In this role, you will lead a technical team focused on high speed interfaces and transceiver based solutions. You will provide strategic and technical direction from architecture definition down to RTL implementation, while ensuring alignment with project milestones and business objectives.
Location: Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
As a High Speed Interface Design Team Lead, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Lead the development of high speed interface solutions within advanced SoC designs
* Provide technical direction from architecture definition through RTL implementation
* Guide architectural and design decisions across interface subsystems
* Act as the bridge between your team, other technical departments and business stakeholders
* Plan, allocate and monitor project tasks to ensure timely delivery
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
* Mentor and develop engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth
* Support integration of high speed interfaces within the overall chip architecture
Requirements:
* 6+ years of experience in SoC design, including at least 2 years leading a technical team
* Experience with transceiver based or high speed interface solutions
* Strong technical background with ability to contribute to architectural and design decisions
* Solid understanding of RTL and integration within SoC environments
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proven ability to plan, organize and oversee complex technical projects
* Demonstrated capability to motivate and engage senior technical professionals
* English level C1 or higher
Nice to have:
* Experience with PCIe
* Exposure to other high speed protocols and interface standards
* Background in advanced technology nodes and complex chip development
