We're looking for a Group Financial Controller who'll report to the Head of Accounting. This is a big deal. We've recently launched our new EU holding company, that covers Banking, Insurance and Trading companies. And you, lucky individual, will be responsible for pulling together the accounts

What you’ll be doing
1. Preparing consolidated GL accounts for EU holding and its subsidiaries in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with IFRS
2. Coordinating the accounting and month end closing process within the EU holding entity and its subsidiaries and branches
3. Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
4. Preparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
5. Managing the accounting policy, ensuring that it is up to date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented
6. Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process - both via automation and control
7. Supporting EU branches set up
8. Participating in annual and interim audits
9. Delivering advice on accounting and reporting issues
10. Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures
What you'll need
11. University degree in finance or economics
12. 8+ years experience in Finance and Controlling functions
13. Strong accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
14. A structural and logical approach to solving problems
15. Strong analytical skills and a hands on attitude
16. Experience within a fast growing organisation
17. Great motivation and focus on delivery
Nice to have
18. Financial services experience is preferred, ideally with international aspects
