The Role: We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Innovation Manager to drive and coordinate innovation initiatives and R&D programs within our organization. You will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and external collaboration, contributing to the development and execution of innovation projects from concept through validation and early deployment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a strong interest in innovation strategy, technology scouting, and structured execution of R&D initiatives. Key Responsibilities: · Coordinate innovation initiatives on different topics from idea definition to technical validation and reporting. · Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Engineering and Physics topics. · Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder communications. · Coordinate with external partners, suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure program objectives and compliance requirements are met. · Oversee documentation, budgeting, reporting, and program governance activities. · Contribute to technology scouting and assessment of emerging technologies aligned with company strategy. · Ensure technical feasibility and validate results in close collaboration with engineers and researchers. · Contribute to innovation strategy and technology scouting in alignment with market trends. Required Qualifications: · PhD or master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or related disciplines. · Strong technical background in electronics, or semiconductor-related technologies. · Experience in experimental research or device/system development. · Demonstrated ability to coordinate research activities and manage multiple workstreams. · Experience with technology transfer, prototyping, and early-stage product innovation. · Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. · Fluent in English; Spanish and Catalan are a plus.
