We are seeking ambitious sales professionals with MedTech/device and clinical trial experience who are looking for a new challenge.
Role: Director, Business Development
The responsibilities of the Director, Business Development include:
1. Achieving an individual annual target.
2. Leading the sales process, including planning and implementing sales activities.
3. Identifying bid defense team participants and educating them on client culture, operational needs/methods, and sales techniques to close sales.
4. Identifying potential accounts that could become global key accounts.
5. Preparing sponsor presentations, including general capabilities and bid defense presentations.
6. Understanding and identifying potential growth areas for Avania through market research and knowledge of the competitive landscape.
This role is focused on new account acquisition and business development, offering the opportunity to sell our full-service capabilities in the MedTech/device sector.
The position can be based in Europe or the United Kingdom.
Qualifications and Skills:
* At least 5 years of CRO sales, commercial, or client relationship experience with a proven record of selling complex multi-service offerings, combined with strategic thinking and business acumen.
* Proven hunter and new business winner.
* Ability to independently lead regional sales strategy and processes.
* Ability to provide the VP with regular metrics.
* Proven experience in lead generation.
* In-depth knowledge of CRO operations from working within a full-service CRO.
