Job Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis and Problem Identification
2. Uses data and analysis to identify problems, bottlenecks, efficiencies, and insights, continuously searching for and enhancing data sources relevant to Nutreco's business needs.
3. Collects, analyzes, coordinates, and selects internal and external data and research to provide relevant information, analyses, or reports for the business.
4. Discovers ways to derive business value from analysis, develops trusted information, visualizes data, and transforms analysis into valuable insights.
Advice
* Proactively and upon request, advises colleagues and management on data analysis, market developments, opportunities, and insights to inform internal stakeholders and customers.
Planning & Control Cycle Support
* Supports the business in planning and control activities, including the preparation of the 3-year development plan, annual budgets, and reporting of actual results.
* Creates guidelines, instructions, and templates to facilitate planning and reporting processes.
* Participates in financial reviews between OpCo(s), Division, and Nutreco Corporate.
* Performs financial analysis comparing actual performance to plans and previous periods.
* Prepares management reports, monthly reports, and presentations on various topics.
* Assists in the preparation and analysis of annual and half-year financial figures.
Market Developments & Investments
* Analyzes market developments using data insights to maintain up-to-date knowledge and ensure long-term relevance.
* Analyzes capital expenditures, credit applications, divestment proposals, and other significant financial events, preparing reports and presentations.
Analysis & Analytics
* Conducts complex internal and external analyses, merging data and research to generate useful information, insights, and recommendations.
* Develops ad hoc financial analyses to add value and support divisional strategies.
* Assists functional teams with cost determination, valuation, overhead distribution, cost treatment, and product pricing.
* May perform special studies on costs related to facilities, systems, and processes.
Compliance
* Supports division-wide compliance with corporate policies, especially in Finance and Administration.
Professional Development
* Contributes to the professional growth of the Finance function by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
