HYTE is retained by a fast-growing, venture-backed electric aviation company to appoint a Project Manager into a critical delivery-focused role.This position will play a central role in coordinating complex engineering programmes, supporting the development and certification of next-generation electric aircraft.Working across engineering, certification, operations, and external partners, the Project Manager will ensure programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest safety standards.The role sits at the heart of a highly innovative environment, supporting the transition of electric aviation from concept through to certified, commercial reality.
✛ Key Responsibilities ✛
Lead and manage complex development projects within electric aviation, ensuring delivery on time and within budgetCoordinate cross-functional teams, including internal engineering, suppliers, and external partnersSupport financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and supplier paymentsContribute to business development activities, including supporting sales and commercial initiativesParticipate in fundraising activities, including grant applications and investor-related workSupport administrative and operational activities such as procurement and internal processesWork closely with technology providers including battery, motor, and energy system partnersSupport certification activities, including documentation and compliance processesManage requirements, validation, and verification activities across the programmeOversee change management processes and resolve conflicting requirements across stakeholders
✛ Candidate Profile ✛
Degree-qualified engineer (BEng or Masters)Formal project management training (PMI, PMBOK or equivalent)Experience delivering complex engineering or technology programmesBackground in aerospace or other high-reliability environmentsStrong experience working across multidisciplinary teams in technical environmentsFamiliarity with agile methodologies and project management toolsExposure to electric aviation or advanced propulsion systems is advantageousStrong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skillsFluent in English;
