Job Title: Beverage Technical Service Representative - EMEA
Work Arrangement: Remote work
Key Responsibilities
* Attend main trials across the entire EMEA region, often without local support.
* Have previous experience in can-making or engineering.
* Optimize settings for spray machines used for internal spray lacquer.
* Ensure all trials and plant activities comply with PPG's EHS policies.
* Provide technical support to customers regarding new technologies and legacy products.
* Coordinate technical assistance to major customers.
* Manage trials and plant activities according to standards and best practices, utilizing tools like Secure Launch and other quality tools.
* Deliver training programs to enhance skills within the segment for PPG and customer facilities.
* Collaborate with equipment suppliers to support PPG's technical team at customer sites.
* Provide post-conversion technical support to strengthen plant relationships and respond to issues using problem analysis tools like Kepner-Tregoe.
* Initiate continuous improvement programs at customer facilities.
* Establish effective partnerships with plants and PPG peers.
* Utilize the Technical Support SharePoint site for global data and experience sharing.
Qualifications
* Understanding of Packaging Coatings, especially in the beverage sector or similar sectors (food, beauty & personal care).
* Experience with EHS policies and reporting.
* Excellent verbal and written English skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good IT skills.
* Willingness to travel across EMEA and work away from home (60-70%).
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Valid driving license.
