Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and forwardthinking Medical Doctor to join our Barcelona team. This role is idóneo for a doctor who is passionate about functional medicine, preventative health, and patientcentred care.
You will be responsible for conducting medical assessments, approving and prescribing IV vitamin infusions, and ensuring safe, compliant clinical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, innovative company at the forefront of wellness and longevity.
Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for clients prior to treatment.
- Review medical histories and determine suitability for IV vitamin therapy and other wellness treatments.
- Issue prescriptions in accordance with Spanish medical regulations.
- Provide clinical oversight for IV therapy protocols and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional medical records.
Quality & Operational Excellence
- Support the development and implementation of clinical SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Client Education & Advocacy
- Educate clients on treatment options, benefits, and safety considerations.
- Address patient concerns with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Promote a holistic approach to health, wellbeing, and longevity.
Essential Requirements
- Licensed Medical Doctor (Spain and Balearic Islands) with full and current registration with Official College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands(Col·legi Oficial de Metges de les Illes Balears, COMIB).
- Eligibility to prescribe within Balearic Islands
- Own, operate, or have formal access to a registered healthcare clinic in Balearic Islands (with appropriate health authority registration)
- Excellent English language both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of patient safety, risk assessment, and clinical decisionmaking.
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical responsibilities with confidence.
- Professional presentation aligned with a premium service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in wellness, functional medicine, or IV therapy.
- Experience working with high net worth or international clients
- Additional international medical registrations (EU, UAE, US, etc.) are a bonus.
