As a Sales Manager for Spain at Kelkoo, you will be focused on acquiring new merchants for our platform. You will be responsible for the whole customer life cycle and ensure that the merchants are developing their presence on our website and throughout our network. Day-to-day duties will include client cold calls, issuing proposals, following up on these proposals, and getting contracts signed.
Previous Experience / Skills required:
1. Experience in performance marketing / affiliate marketing preferred
2. Sales and negotiation experience in a new business development environment
3. Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
4. Digital marketing experience / understanding of eCommerce
5. Business professional level of English and Spanish (additional European Languages are always a plus!)
6. Good negotiation skills and ability to close deals quickly
7. Excellent internal and external customer relationship and interpersonal skills
8. Team player with strong work ethic and ability to adapt to and drive change
9. Commercially minded
10. Strategic thinker and able to think analytically at a detailed level
11. Ability to strongly influence those outside direct control for positive results
12. Able to deliver at a consistently high level in a demanding, commercial environment
13. Manages conflict in a positive and assertive manner for the best outcome
Accountabilities and Deliverables:
1. Prospection: searching for potential customers using search engines, LinkedIn, similar web, and all the other web tools available
2. Develop strong relationships with merchants that drive growth
3. Demonstrate the ability to develop the right strategy with all your accounts and create up-sale opportunities
Academic Background:
Strong academic background – graduate preferred
