We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist who can bridge the gap between technical product understanding and compelling go-to-market strategy.
Role Overview
In this hybrid role, you'll wear two critical hats:
* Product Marketing – Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market efforts for SCANOSS solutions.
* Pre-Sales – Partner with sales to support technical demos, solutioning, and customer onboarding discussions.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing:
* Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product and marketing strategies.
* Create and manage content for case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and sales tools.
* Collaborate with product and engineering to translate technical features into customer benefits.
Pre-Sales:
* Partner with the sales team to deliver product demos and respond to technical inquiries.
* Understand client use cases and provide tailored product insights to support sales cycles.
* Act as a product expert in customer calls, webinars, and industry events.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in product marketing, technical pre-sales, or solutions engineering, preferably in B2B software or cybersecurity.
* Strong understanding of software development practices and open source ecosystems.
* Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messaging.
* Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
* Native English / C2 level; other languages are a plus.
* Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
* Experience in Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Open Source Compliance, or Application Security, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.
* Previous customer-facing experience in sales engineering or technical consulting.
* Hands-on knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, or code scanning tools.
