The H&S Specialist provides in-house Health & Safety expertise to support renewable energy projects and operational assets, ensuring the effective implementation of Health & Safety requirements during construction and operation phases. The position aims to prevent occupational risks, ensure compliance with applicable Health & Safety legislation and company standards, and actively contribute to the development of a strong preventive culture across projects, worksites and operational facilities. The role combines on-site presence with coordination activities, supporting construction teams, contractors and O&M personnel, while providing operational Health & Safety support for assigned projects and installations, thereby enabling efficient day-to-day H&S management and supporting the overall HSEQ function.


Your main responsibilities will be:

* Support renewable energy projects and operational assets by ensuring the effective implementation of Health & Safety requirements during construction and operation phases, in compliance with applicable legislation, company standards and the Health & Safety Management System.
* Provide operational Health & Safety support for assigned construction projects and operational installations, including regular site visits, inspections and follow-up activities, in coordination with project teams, O&M and the HSEQ function.
* Support construction and O&M teams by supervising Health & Safety compliance on site, identifying unsafe conditions and behaviors, and proposing and following up corrective and preventive measures.
* Coordinate and oversee Health & Safety requirements with contractors and subcontractors, including the use of digital tools for the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) related to assigned projects and installations.
* Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety procedures and preventive measures, in line with the principles of the Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001), ensuring their practical application across projects and operational activities.
* Support Health & Safety legal compliance activities, including the identification of applicable legal requirements and participation in periodic Health & Safety compliance evaluations for projects and installations.
* Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, contributing to root cause analysis and the definition and monitoring of corrective actions.
* Actively promote a strong preventive culture on site through communication, awareness actions, toolbox talks and direct interaction with project teams and contractors.
* Support internal Health & Safety inspections, audits and reporting activities, contributing to the effective functioning of the overall HSEQ function.


Your profile:

* Official qualification as Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in Spain.
* University degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines is considered an advantage, particularly in construction, industrial or infrastructure environments.
* Knowledge or experience on Environmental / Quality matters would be a plus.
* 4-5 years of professional experience in Health&Safety Management in constructions projects and/or operational industrial or infrastructure assets, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Demonstrable experience in supervision on site.
* Solid knowledge of Spanish Health & Safety legislation and proven experience in its practical application during construction and operational activities.
* Proven experience in coordinating Health & Safety requirements with contractors and subcontractors, including the use of digital tools (CAE).
* Experience in accident, incident and near-miss investigation, as well as support to Health & Safety legal compliance evaluations.
* Good knowledge of English.
* Driving license B and availability to travel within Spain according to project needs.
