Descripción

- *This job is with Skyscanner, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest general platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly.**
- *Innovative. Brave. Straightforward. At Skyscanner, we like to keep things simple. Working here involves collaboration, ownership and bags of innovation. We're not afraid to admit that it's different from the norm. But if you're our kind of Graduate, you'll feel right at home.**
- *The Opportunity**

\nWe are looking for Software Engineering Graduates who have a passion for innovation and eagerness to learn new technologies. We operate small, empowered teams who use industry leading technologies and work in sprints to deliver value. Our engineers are constantly innovating and thrive on new challenges, and you'll have opportunities to gain experience and exposure to different technologies through regular rotations.\n

Whether you want to build and improve the engine that powers Skyscanner across all platforms, focus on providing the best user interface on all devices, create innovative technologies to support our growth, or even all of the above, we want to hear from you.

\n

- *Programme duration:**

\n18 months\n
- *Number of rotations:**

\nYou will take part in 3 rotations - spending 6 months working across several areas such as Backend, Frontend, Mobile and Data.\n
- *Start date:**

\n

July 2026

\n
- *Why choose us:**

\nWe have lots of experience nurturing fresh talent at Skyscanner and some of our senior leaders started in Early Careers when they first joined years ago. We want to do everything possible to help you develop on a personal and professional level. We have a supportive, trusting and transparent working environment; a place where you can look at things differently, to challenge and offer solutions. Within the program you will go through three rotations. This gives you the unique opportunity to work in different areas of the business. Our programme is an opportunity to learn, master and develop your craft in a community of experienced engineering mentors. We are a data-centric culture, with a strong focus on experimentation. You'll get experience across different tech stacks, platforms, products, frontend, backend, app, data and more!\n
- *What are we looking for:**
- A good strong technical foundation with the potential to achieve technical excellence
- Passion and curiosity for the technology industry which extends beyond your academic studies
- Commitment to developing your technical and personal skills
- Ability to collaborate both in your team and across the business
- A fresh perspective and willingness to share ideas and do things differently
- A successfully completed Bachelors or Masters degree in the field of Software Engineering (or similar discipline)
- *Recruitment Process:**

\nWant to join us? Submit your CV and answer a couple of quick application questions to get started.\n

If your experience aligns with what we're looking for, you'll be invited to complete a coding test, followed by a virtual interview with the team.

\n

Our final stage is an in-person Discovery Day, where you'll take part in a group exercise, a technical interview, and a culture conversation. It's your chance to get a real feel for life at Skyscanner (and for us to get to know you, too).

\n

Applications will close on 10th April, but we may close them sooner due to high interest - so we'd encourage you to apply as early as possible.

\n

The Discovery

\nDay will be held in our Barcelona office on Thursday 21st May.\n

Already a global leader in travel, we want to elevate the way we work to a whole other level. In return, you'll get meaningful things like medical insurance, headspace subscriptions, a home office allowance and the option to buy more holiday. You'll have the opportunity to work from any country for 4 weeks a year, and 30 days in our other global offices. Everything, in other words, to help you relax and give your best.
