ARIS’s Business Operations is the key operation that supports the Sales organization with all aspects of the process cycle of a sales transaction from pricing quote through to a signed contract (Quote to Contract Process).

Deal DeskManagers are the business partners and trusted advisors to Sales to ensure that all requirements within the Quote to Contract Process are achieved with the best efficiency and speed possible. They are the first line for the administration of all the documentation required to execute a software license transaction, ensuring that revenue on a customer signed agreement is optimized as the best possible transaction for both the customer and ARIS and that revenue can be booked successfully.

Deal Desk Managers are viewed as experts in their field and are required to work very closely with Sales on complex deals to enable them to construct the best possible deal for both the customer and ARIS. The role requires a deep understanding of financial, legal and technical product knowledge related to Software AG’s licensing models.


Essential Functions

* Ensure compliance of deals with any relevant company policies, procedures and processes or other requirements (e.g. Government specifications) and manage the approval process for deals in Salesforce/Zuora CPQ
* Assist and advise Sales with product configurations and pricing proposals
* Help draft, review and administer any documentation required for deals and their approval
* Act as first line support to Sales on revenue recognition or contractual matters relating to deals, act as liaison to Finance and Legal Departments on those deals
* Provide interpretation and analysis of existing customer contractual documents where required
* Interact with all internal business partners (such as: Commercial Director, Finance, Technology Alliances, Partner Managers, Product Managers, HQ functions, etc.), external business partners and customers or partners where required in the execution and closure of deals


Qualifications and Experience

* Experience and good understanding of the ARIS product portfolio, licensing, contracting, revenue recognition, internal sales applications, systems and processes
* Good knowledge of and experience with Salesforce/Zuora CPQ
* Reasonable/good Salesforce skills
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, meet deadlines and able to work independently
* Able to handle confidential information
