Your Mission
The Delivery Manager (ART) acts as the primary interface between the business and the Group IT delivery teams (ART), ensuring that strategic business EPICs are translated into structured, prioritised, and execution‑ready backlog items. The role serves as the control point for value entering the ART, safeguarding focus, quality, and alignment with agreed objectives.
This position is accountable for ensuring that only initiatives which meet defined entry criteria — including clear scope, business value, dependencies, and Definition of Ready (DoR) standards — are admitted into the ART backlog. By enforcing governance and maintaining backlog discipline, the Delivery Manager protects delivery capacity and prevents scope dilution or unvalidated work from entering the train.
Working closely with Business Owners, Product Owners, System Architects, and Developers, the Delivery Manager ensures that business EPICs are decomposed appropriately, sequenced realistically, and delivered on time. The role monitors progress across Program Increments, manages trade‑offs, and provides transparent reporting on value delivery, risks, and dependencies. xhfqzwm
Ultimately, the Delivery Manager ensures that the ART remains outcome‑driven, strategically aligned, and execution‑focused — acting as both value champion and operational gatekeeper.
