Talents First recruits for its client, a growing industrial equipment manufacturer, a:Area Sales ManagerMissionsReporting to the Regional Management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Northern Spain and Portugal through the development and management of a distributor network.The role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales in a highly competitive industrial environment.Your main responsibilities include:Developing and managing a network of distributors and channel partnersIdentifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accountsPromoting and selling technical solutions in compressed air systemsDelivering technical presentations and conducting air audits for customersSupporting partners to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfactionMonitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needsAchieving sales targets while ensuring profitabilityProfileEducation & ExperienceEngineering degree or technical background (sales/business education is a plus)Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial salesProven experience in developing and managing distributor networks (indirect sales)Experience in compressors or similar industrial equipment is highly desirableSkills & KnowledgeStrong technical understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applicationsExcellent negotiation and relationship-building skillsAutonomous, results-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based roleAbility to engage both technical and commercial stakeholdersLanguagesSpanish: Native levelEnglish: Good level requiredPortuguese: A plusAdditional InformationLocation: Northern Spain (with coverage of Portugal)Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territoryIf you are a technically strong sales professional with solid experience in distributor development and industrial solutions, we would be pleased to hear from you.
