Job Description
Supervise and support technical topics for safety related for both running projects and RFI/RFQs (mainly systems).
Ensure safety technical compliance and safety package for both running projects and RFI/RFQ; perform RFQ gate review and cost estimation.
Lead and manage Functional Safety team in EU and Rabat.
Ensure lean safety release for production.
Lead the adoption of safety culture at Lear from a technical perspective.
Provide functional safety consultancy services to other departments and projects.
Responsibilities
Support running projects and RFI/RFQ safety technical solution, including review and consultancy.
Perform safety assessment and ensure timely delivery of work products.
Maintain direct contact with customers on technical aspects of RFI/RFQ.
Support project execution for the team responsible for safety deliverables.
Support other departments in ISO26262 adaptation and technical solutions compliance.
Provide coaching in functional safety.
Experience Requirements
Proven previous experience in safety technical activities and work product generation (Systems, HW or SW parts).
At least 5 years proven experience in functional safety related design activities.
Experience in providing safety related training and/or coaching.
Proficient in ISO26262:2011 and 2018.
English language skills are a must; German desirable.
High communication and presentation skills.
