The role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, safety, certification, and VV, with hands‑on involvement across requirements definition, modeling, testing, and compliance demonstration at Component, System, and Aircraft levels. /ppbr/ppResponsibilities /ppSystems Engineering Requirements /pulliDevelop, manage, and validate aircraft‑, system‑, and component‑level requirements. /liliGenerate and maintain requirements aligned with customer, regulatory, and certification needs. /liliEnsure bidirectional traceability between requirements, verification methods, and compliance evidence. /liliManage requirements in ALM environments (Polarion). /liliProvide design feedback related to safety, requirements completeness, and verification readiness. /li /ulpSafety Certification /pulliApply SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 processes throughout the system lifecycle. /liliSupport Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and FMEA. /liliParticipate in certification planning and compliance demonstrations. /liliInterface with certification engineers and DERs to support FAA approval activities. /liliSupport certification programs under Part 23 / 27 / 33, including electric propulsion systems. /li /ulpVerification Validation /pulliAuthor, execute, and maintain verification plans, procedures, and test reports. /liliDefine and execute requirements‑based test strategies at Component, System, and Aircraft levels. /liliCoordinate and execute lab, integration, and system‑level tests. /liliVerify systems including: vibrations, airframe, fuselage, interiors, doors, transparencies, ECS, interior lighting, smoke detection, and more. /liliEnsure verification activities align with certification schedules. /liliTrack and report verification status with full traceability. /li /ulpModeling, Analysis Test Support /pulliPerform system behavior modeling for validation. /liliSupport test automation and data analysis. /liliEnsure verification deliverables meet certification expectations. /li /ulpbr/ppMinimum Qualifications /pulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field. /lili10+ years of experience on Part 23 or 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs. /liliStrong knowledge of: /liliSAE ARP4754A /liliSAE ARP4761 /liliFAA Order 8110.4C /liliRTCA DO‑160G, DO‑331, DO‑178C /liliExperience with ARP4754A‑based verification. /liliExperience with requirements‑based testing and traceability audits. /liliProficiency with ALM tools (Polarion, JIRA, Confluence). /liliExperience with modeling tools (Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.). /liliComfortable working in certification‑focused environments. /li /ulpbr/ppPreferred Qualifications /pulliExperience with Part 23 Amendment 64, ASTM F3338, Part 33 certification, or electric propulsion systems. /liliFamiliarity with: /liliPolarion ALM /liliCATIA /liliANSYS /liliMil‑HDBK‑217 / Mil‑HDBK‑21 /liliReliability tools (PTC Windchill, Isograph, Relyence) /liliTest automation experience with LabVIEW, Python, and automation frameworks. /liliBackground in aerospace verification validation. /liliExperience in certifying environments (Part 23, 25, 27, 29 or DO‑based programs under EASA/FAA). /li /ulpbr/ppTools Work Environment /pulliGoogle G‑Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar). /liliSlack collaborative engineering workflows. /liliALM‑driven, traceability‑heavy certification environment. /li /ul
