Senior Product Designer (UX)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior UX/Product Designer to support the next generation of intelligent devices, such as protection relays, controllers, and power meters. You will partner closely with engineering teams worldwide to translate technical workflows into simple, efficient, and user‑centered interactions.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with Product Managers and Marketing teams to understand business goals and the value proposition to emphasize in the designs.
- Understanding system workflows, engineering processes, and capturing their success criteria.
- Finding innovative ways to simplify complex workflows using information architecture and smart interactions.
- Articulating benefits of proposed designs to technical engineers and identifying where change management is needed.
- Balancing feasibility with usability in proposed designs.
- Using Schneider Electric's design system and contributing to it where relevant.
- Working closely with development teams and ensuring designs are implemented per specifications and quality requirements.
- Testing designs with end‑users to validate assumptions and measure KPIs associated with success criteria.
- Analyzing and using data to make informed decisions, measure the impact of implemented designs, and continuously improve product effectiveness and efficiency.

- You have 7 years of experience as a product designer, including work on complex, B2B products.
- You are passionate about product design, information architecture, and the industrialization and efficiency of design.
- You are fully autonomous from user research to delivery, translating research insights into efficient product experiences.
- You enjoy coordinating stakeholders and managing projects, explaining and sharing your work.
- You like to solve problems, understand technical issues and dependencies.
- You enjoy transformative projects and technical challenges.
- You have a strong team spirit and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
- You are proactive with an organized and ambitious mindset.
- You are curious and constantly on the lookout for new trends and tools.
- You think systematically.
- You are enthusiastic, humble, and caring.
- You are fluent in English.
