Job Description
As a Murex Business Analyst, your mission will be to transcribe functional and user requirements into technical specifications and support their development, certification, and eventual production release.
You will contribute to multiple areas of the bank, including Front, Middle, and Back Office, by configuring Murex products, designing simulation views and reports, and ensuring accurate trade and market data management.
We need someone like you to contribute across the following responsibilities:
* Configure Murex settings related to product definitions.
* Design and implement simulation views and reports (dynamic tables, notepads, trade queries).
* Analyze and resolve incidents across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and other business areas.
* Manage requests, registration, and monitoring of static and market data.
* Evaluate product parametrization and pricing to calculate PnL and sensitivities (delta, vega, etc.).
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including IT, FO, BO, Risk, and Management Control.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
* +3 years’ experience in Murex projects or capital markets environments.
* Hands-on experience in trade lifecycle, product configuration, simulations, and risk reporting.
* Exposure to UAT, functional testing, and business requirement documentation.
EDUCATION
* Certificate of Higher Education, University Degree, or Master’s degree.
* Background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or IT.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Essential
* Deep knowledge of Murex (static data, market data, GOM configurations, simulations, trade and event insertion).
* Understanding of banking systems architecture (contracting platforms, risk systems, back office, management control).
* Strong foundation in financial markets and investment/asset management products.
* Analytical skills for PnL calculation, risk metrics, and product valuation.
* Experience in multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional delivery.
* Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
* Financial certifications such as FRM, CFA, CAIA, or EFA are highly valued.
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of advanced Murex modules and integrations.
* Programming or scripting skills (Python, SQL) for reporting and automation.
