Job Purpose
The Accounting Specialist will ensure accurate and efficient financial management and recording of aircraft maintenance operations by maintaining precise accounting records and performing detailed cost analyses. It will also be involved in other accounting processes.
Main Accountabilities
* Achieve maximum efficiency, security and robustness in MRO accounting processes.
* Enable better strategic planning and increased financial agility in response to policy changes.
* Streamline audit processes and reduce discrepancies.
* Guarantee smooth coordination with external service providers, ensuring effective treasury management and quick issue resolution.
* Ensure information is correctly reflected and secure.
* Improve the quality, accessibility, and visibility of financial data for better decision-making.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
* Maintain detailed and accurate financial records of all aircraft maintenance transactions (MRO), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct comprehensive analyses of maintenance costs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, collaborating with business partners.
* Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to gather financial data and support financial decision-making.
* Assist the manager in relations with IAG and with internal and external auditors.
* Help coordinate the GBS (Global Business Services) team to ensure transactional accounting processes are properly handled and aligned with company needs.
* Ensure all financial practices related to aircraft maintenance adhere to relevant regulations and policies.
* Collaborate with the digital accounting manager to identify and define financial digitalization needs.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or related fields.
Experience
* At least 2 to 3 years of accounting or auditing experience.

Languages
