Design Engineer – Bellapart Group
Designing metal and glass structures for cutting‑edge architectural applications in close collaboration with the Bellapart design team. This role expands Bellapart’s knowledge, quality and productivity as a key and versatile player.
Key Qualifications
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline, or a Technical Architectural degree.
* Knowledge of basic structural principles, carpentry and lightweight facades.
* Familiarity with European standards, building regulations and design guides.
* Well‑developed communication skills.
* Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D and SolidWorks.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
* Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 5‑10% of working time).
* High level of English proficiency; knowledge of Spanish and French is advantageous.
Main Responsibilities
* Control and ensure that the design is completed in accordance with the agreed specification.
* Collaborate with project and workshop teams to identify cost‑efficient fabrication methods and competitive suppliers.
* Manage, control and meet deadlines.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee good communication with all project stakeholders.
* Provide sufficient information to ensure high and consistent quality during manufacture and installation.
* Prepare and manage manufacturing orders.
* Negotiate and manage internal and external suppliers.
