Techno/Functional Consultant – Blue Yonder WMS (Spain)
Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a rapidly growing global organization? We're seeking a Lead Analyst, Supply Chain Systems to play a key role in the delivery and optimization of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across a diverse logistics network.
This role involves leading the technical aspects of WMS implementation, configuration, and support — from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live optimization. You'll work closely with stakeholders to design scalable solutions, perform system analysis, coordinate testing, and ensure operational excellence across complex supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and operational requirements to determine Blue Yonder WMS fit, configuration, and customization needs
Design, configure, and implement BY WMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and IT architecture
Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for enhancements, integrations, and modifications
Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and stability
Support system upgrades, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver post-implementation support
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and operations teams to drive system improvements and performance optimization
Deliver user training and provide on-site or remote configuration support to distribution and operations centers
Conduct SQL-based data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and issue resolution
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years' experience in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementation, configuration, and support
Strong technical knowledge of BY WMS architecture, MOCA, Integrator, SCI, and web services
Experience integrating WMS with TMS, ERP, and parcel shipment systems
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle preferred) for data extraction, analysis, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution processes
Familiarity with client/server, relational databases, web-based systems, and object-oriented design
