About the Role
TGRC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a new onshore wind project on Talim Island. This is a contract position for 12 months, offering a competitive day rate for an individual capable of managing renewable energy projects with precision and effective leadership.
Position Overview
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of the project while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires onsite management to effectively oversee project operations and maintain relationships with local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the planning and implementation of the onshore wind project.
2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
3. Develop and manage project timelines, highlighting critical milestones and required resources.
4. Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
7. Report and escalate to management as needed.
8. Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, resolving any issues and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
9. Proven working experience in project management, specifically in renewable energy or onshore wind projects.
10. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
11. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
12. Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
13. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
14. Ability to manage project teams in a remote, challenging location.
Contract Details
15. $600 day rate.
16. 12-month contract with potential extensions based on project progress and business needs.
17. The role requires physical presence on Talim Island.
