The role
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will own the quality strategy, test automation frameworks, and continuous validation of our systems. This role requires a proactive mindset and hands‑on implementation, from designing comprehensive test suites to integrating AI‑driven testing tools into our ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure our platform is robust, scalable, and delivers a flawless user experience through cutting‑edge automation.
What you’ll do
* Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
* Implement and oversee AI‑powered testing scripts to automate complex scenarios and perform intelligent code review analysis.
* Develop and execute rigorous Unit Tests and integration tests, ensuring maximum code coverage and reliability.
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the path from development to production deployment.
* Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify edge cases, debug complex issues, and advocate for "Quality at Source" practices.
* Monitor test results, analyze failure patterns using AI tools, and continuously optimize the efficiency of the testing lifecycle.
* Stay ahead of emerging QA trends, exploring new AI frameworks and tools to accelerate testing and improve bug detection.
What we’re looking for
* 7–10+ years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or SDET roles.
* Strong expertise in QA and popular testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium, Playwright).
* Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven testing tools or using LLMs to assist in script generation and code analysis.
* Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Solid experience in Unit Testing, Integration test, E2E test and API testing (REST/GraphQL).
* Strong analytical skills; ability to translate complex product requirements into detailed, automated test cases.
* Fluent in English, as the role involves international collaboration.
* Remote Spain based.
Nice to have
* Experience in high‑growth startups or scale‑ups.
* Knowledge of Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Exposure to performance testing tools (Locust, JMeter) and security testing basics.
* Experience working with cross‑functional teams in international markets.
