Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Platform Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure smooth operation of the Starburst Enterprise Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes deployments, scripting, automation, and data platform integrations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on enterprise-grade data platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Platform Support MaintenanceProvide technical support for issues related to the Starburst Enterprise Platform.Monitor and maintain platform performance, availability, and reliability using Helm charts.Perform regular updates, patching, and application housekeeping.Deployment ConfigurationDeploy and configure Starburst Enterprise Platform on Kubernetes using Helm charts and YAML files.Build and maintain Docker images to support scalable deployments.Use GitHub Actions to streamline CI/CD processes.User Support OnboardingAssist with onboarding users by setting up connections, catalogs, and data tools.Handle user queries and ensure timely incident resolution and triaging.Scripting AutomationDevelop automation scripts using Python and GitHub pipelines.Document workflows and ensure they align with business goals.New Feature IntegrationCollaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement new features.Define technical requirements and assist in system integrations across data platforms.Innovation Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities for automation and implement innovative solutions.Contribute to the development of new tools to improve operational efficiency.Incident ManagementParticipate in incident management and troubleshooting processes to resolve technical challenges swiftly.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience with Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, and Docker image management.Proficiency in Python and YAML scripting.Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
