Job Summary
The Field Engineer is responsible for on-site inspection, local operation, monitoring, and routine minor maintenance of power plant systems and equipment. This includes the Boiler, Turbine/Generator, Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment and auxiliaries, Power Block, fire protection systems (including those for the BOP), seawater intake facilities, and service water pumps. The Field Engineer will ensure proper operation and support troubleshooting efforts for all equipment related to the boiler and turbine/generator systems, as well as the standby diesel-driven and AC-driven generator set units.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
* Preferably a Registered Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineer
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a power generation plant, or
* Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial plant or similar heavy industry environment
