Responsibilities:
As a Junior Corporate Legal Counsel, you will support the legal department across
several critical areas:
* Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including NDAs, Supplier Agreements, and Outsourcing contracts, among others.
* Operational Support: Provide practical legal advice and solutions for day-to- day business challenges and operational queries.
* Compliance & Due Diligence: Assist in Client Due Diligence (CDD/KYB) and onboarding processes, ensuring all required corporate documentation is gathered and verified.
* Process Improvement: Assist and participate in the creation, review, and optimization of internal company processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.
* Legal Research: Track and analyse relevant legal developments, new laws, and regulations affecting the company's sector.
* Legal Organization: Manage the filing, tracking, and organization of all corporate legal documentation.
Requirements:
* Experience: 1-3 years of proven legal experience gained within a reputable law firm or an in-house legal department, with a specific focus on Corporate and Commercial Law.
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent)+Master is highly appreciated.
* Languages: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory, as 70% of the workload is conducted in English.
* Legal Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of commercial contracts and corporate governance.
