Responsabilities:In this role, you will lead the company's market penetration in Spain, taking full ownership of new business development by identifying and converting prospects into long-term clients through targeted outreach, lead generation, and attendance at key IT events.You will manage the entire sales cycle while building and nurturing a strong local client base. Working closely with internal teams, you will gather market intelligence and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's commercial strategy in the Spanish market. Here are the main tasks of the role :Business Development & Lead GenerationProactively acquire new customers through targeted outreach activities and lead generation strategies.Expand the current customer base across various channels while attending global IT events to identify and qualify new opportunities. Sales & Client EngagementConduct client interviews, understand customer needs, and deliver compelling pitches and proposals to meet sales goals.Maintain regular contact with existing clients and gather feedback to ensure long-term satisfaction. Cross-functional CollaborationLiaise with the delivery department to ensure seamless project handover and alignment between client expectations and internal capabilities.Prepare and present reports to relevant stakeholders as needed. CRM & ReportingKeep the CRM system regularly updated with accurate pipeline and client information.Track sales activities and maintain a clear overview of business development progress. Market IntelligenceMonitor and analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities.Share relevant insights with the marketing team to support campaign strategy and positioning.
Candidate Profile:Education & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-cycle B2 B sales is required, with at least 3 years in the IT outsourcing or custom software development industry.Prior exposure to international business environments and demonstrated experience operating in or penetrating new markets will be considered a strong asset. Sales & Business DevelopmentProven track record in full-cycle B2 B sales within IT outsourcing or custom software development.Demonstrated experience in new market expansion, high-value contract negotiation, and the ability to design and implement effective sales funnels Technical & Industry KnowledgeSolid understanding of IT outsourcing models, custom software development lifecycles, and service-based delivery.Familiarity with both local market dynamics and international client expectations. Tools & ProcessesProficiency in Hub Spot for lead management and pipeline tracking.Meticulous approach to documentation and reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records throughout the sales process.
