Overview BD is hiring for a Marketing Specialist to join the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) team on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract. The Marketing Specialist will support & coordinate the launch process of the new assets, business opportunities, strategy and forecasting for the EMEA market. This will include supporting the pre-launch phase and paving the way for new product launches. This is a site based role in Winnersh (UK) or Valencia (Spain).
Responsibilities Conducting opportunity assessment (SWOT, market research) and defining value propositions relevant to the key stakeholders
Building a segmentation strategy and exploring the product positioning (customer journey map)
Collaborating with regional & global supply chain to prepare the initial launch forecast
Identifying and implementing tactical activity needed to drive sales opportunities & leads
Initiating an awareness campaign to reach the target market during the pre-launch phase
Supporting internal & external product training plans and creating a collateral strategy
Ensuring all the tools are in place for the business to sell and support the product launch
Maintaining a dashboard to track initial performance of the product launch and providing reports of the results
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics or business-related areas. Master’s degree would be a plus.
A first marketing experience working on business analytics would be preferred.
Strong business acumen and project management skills, organisational ability, with a dynamic analytical approach.
Capability to anticipate problems and provide innovative solutions to complex issues in specialised area, driving achievement of objectives.
Analytical thinker, structured, proactive, action and results oriented.
Fluent in English. Other European languages a plus.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel), business intelligence. Analytics tools (e.g. QlikView, QlikSense) and Salesforce.com would be a plus.
Detail-oriented, rigorous with an interest in organization of information.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and work with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivation and motivating to others, with robust interpersonal skills.
