About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Terminal Operations Manager
to lead our terminal’s customer service, customs compliance, and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders, while upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison for terminal customers, ensuring prompt and effective service delivery.Lead and oversee customs operations, ensuring full compliance with Temporary Storage Facility (ADT)
and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)
regulations.Champion a strong HSSE
(Health, Safety, Security & Environment) culture through regular safety talks and site walks.Negotiate and manage service agreements with shipping lines, customs agents, trucking companies, and port authorities.Resolve customer issues by collaborating with Operations, Planning, and Finance departments.Maintain proactive communication with clients, manage service quality, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Supervise Gate
and Container Freight Station (CFS)
operations, ensuring procedural compliance and process optimization.Define, monitor, and report KPIs, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions using Lean Methodology .Contribute to budget planning, invoicing, and financial performance monitoring.Set priorities, structure tasks, and align team goals with organizational objectives.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime/Port Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Specialized training or certification in Customs, ADT, or International Trade
is preferred.Certification from the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT)
in customs and tax law is required .Minimum 5 years
of experience in terminal operations management.Strong knowledge of container shipping, port regulations, and customs documentation .Proficiency in terminal management systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP platforms
(e.G., Salesforce).Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Fluent in English and Spanish .Why Join Us?
