Demand Planner Specialist
With an organizational report to the Global Demand Planning Manager of LOEWE Perfumes, the mission of the Demand Planner Specialist will be to ensure that the company's sales and supply chain operations are timely, efficient, and coherent to maximize cost-effectiveness.
He/she will assist in all demand planning duties including consolidation of future product demand forecast, analysis of inventory and monitoring of distribution flow, coordination of product catalogue worldwide, and development of forecast models together with the sales team on the regions.
The Demand Planner Specialist, as part of the Integrated Planning team, will work cross‐functionally with all stakeholders to ensure correct process execution and supervise the performance of involved departments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement accurate and solid demand forecasting models to predict future product demand.
Analyze historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to improve forecast accuracy, incorporating input from sales, marketing and other departments.
Manage demand risks and develop effective mitigation plans together with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and secure business targets.
Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes by staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Align demand planning strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless integration with other supply chain functions.
Communicate the demand planning strategy and objectives to the team and relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.
Manage the S&OP process within the region; lead the S&OP meeting with transversal coordination with local business and HQ based on data analysis.
Maintain a close relationship with production planning to ensure demand is met with supply capacity.
Manage catalogue to optimize the portfolio and gather input for more accurate demand predictions.
Focus and monitor demand for new product introductions, end‐of‐life products, limited editions, and promotions.
Collaborate with main stakeholders (sales and marketing) to translate business assumptions (new openings, new customers, brand activations) into accurate demand.
Report, monitor and analyze KPIs related to demand planning and inventory management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Develop ad‐hoc demand‐related analysis and reports.
Lead and coordinate with regional teams during the monthly demand and supply review/consensus meeting.
Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
Languages: (Specify required languages)
IT Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP; familiarity with demand planning IT tools; proficiency in Power BI.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in demand planning and organising Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
Other Qualifications: Strong statistical knowledge; solid understanding of inventory management principles.
