From Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a major multinational company, a leader since 1981 in the design and manufacture of high-tech industrial machinery (ultrasonic cleaning and custom coating), to recruit a SALES MANAGER for its branch located in Cerdanyola (Barcelona).
What will be your mission in the company?
As the key figure for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, your mission will be the \"end-to-end\" sales management of custom-made projects:
• Business Development: Lead generation through client visits, trade fairs, and networking, as well as growing the existing client portfolio (65% of current volume).
• Technical Consultative Sales: Perform needs diagnosis at the clients facilities, including technical validation and laboratory testing at the Cerdanyola headquarters.
• Complex Project Management: Preparation of technical offers for custom-made machinery, with sales cycles ranging from 10 to 12 months, acting as the main link between the client and the factory.
• Technical Support & Commissioning: Supervising installation and accompanying the client during the operational phase to ensure service excellence.
• Market Analysis: Identifying opportunities in key sectors such as automotive, medical, aerospace, defense, and optics.

What do we need from you?
• Experience: A high-seniority profile with a demonstrable track record in selling industrial capital goods or transformation machinery (stamping, injection, machining).
• Commercial Skills: Mastery of consultative (non-aggressive) sales, with great listening, analytical, and client loyalty skills.
• Languages: High level of English is essential for coordination with headquarters and the factory. French or Italian will be a plus.
• Mobility: Availability to travel (approx. 40% of the time) to cover the Spain and Portugal territory. • Mindset: A resilient individual, capable of \"taking the lead\" and managing long-term multidisciplinary projects.
