What you’ll do
We seek an experienced Bars Manager for the opening team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting to the Head of Bars & Restaurants, the Bars Manager oversees hotel bar operations, ensuring service aligns with the SLS brand and fostering a team culture of empowerment and professional growth.
* Manage the entire restaurant operation.
* Ensure the food & beverage concept is well executed and meets guest and team expectations, with ongoing improvements.
* Update service offerings based on trends and guest expectations.
* Manage inventory, costs, sales analysis, and stock control.
* Ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs.
* Follow cash handling procedures and manage stock items.
* Train the food & beverage team in product and menu knowledge.
* Oversee food & beverage presentation and quality.
* Conduct staff training and on-the-job development.
* Maintain effective communication within the restaurant.
* Participate in hiring, performance appraisals, and personnel decisions.
* Support administrative tasks, reporting, and strategic planning.
* Set clear service expectations and accountability.
* Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires.
What we are looking for...
* Degree in Hospitality or Bars Management.
* At least 3 years' experience in high-volume hospitality management roles.
* Proven leadership, energy, motivation, and alignment with company values.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
* Positive attitude, team leadership, relationship-building skills.
