Role Description: Offshore Structures Engineer Seaplace is seeking a full-time
Offshore Structures Engineer
to join its team. The position is based preferably in
Vigo
(alternatively
Madrid
) with flexibility for hybrid work. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural analyses and calculations for offshore structures, collaborating on multidisciplinary engineering designs, and supporting project development. You will also work with CAD software to produce technical drawings and 3D models, and contribute technical expertise throughout various stages of offshore engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities Perform structural analyses and engineering calculations for offshore structures (primarly Offshore Wind projects) Contribute to structural and civil engineering design development Create technical drawings, models, and documentation using CAD tools Support project execution, development, and engineering studies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment Provide technical assistance for offshore engineering processes
Qualifications Proficiency in structural calculations and analysis using FEM software such as
ANSYS Programming skills
for developing engineering scripts and automation tools Strong understanding of
structural and civil engineering principles Experience with
Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
software and related engineering tools Knowledge of
offshore engineering standards
