Job Description
The Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing plans to achieve marketing and sales objectives in offline channels. This includes implementing appropriate product mixes, managing in-store presence, activations, and promotions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all trade promotions based on the marketing calendar.
* Conducting weekly market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, current promotions, and stock levels at points of sale.
* Monitoring stock movement, suggesting promotions or trade deals on slow-moving or near-expiry products.
* Executing Below The Line (BTL) activities such as new product launches, sampling, and consumer promotions.
* Participating actively in product launches by giving presentations to the sales team on new SKUs.
* Following up with sales and product managers to meet sales targets on trade deals.
* Tracking sell-out data by SKU, analyzing product performance weekly at each POS/store, and preparing sales trackers.
* Conducting market research through customer questionnaires and focus groups.
* Monitoring competitor activity and evaluating product visibility and market coverage through weekly visits.
* Contributing to and executing marketing plans and projects.
* Sharing best practices for profitable trade marketing activities.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
* 5-7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably within the tobacco, vape, or FMCG industry.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
* Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment.
