Business Controller – Keonn (Novanta Group)
📍 Barcelona, Spain | Hybrid
Keonn, part of Novanta, is a fast‑growing RFID hardware and software business serving retail, healthcare, logistics, and industrial markets. As Keonn scales within a publicly traded global group, we are looking for a Business Controller to act as the key finance partner to the local leadership team.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys working close to the business, translating commercial activity into financial insight, and helping build robust financial processes in a growing, technology‑driven environment.
What you’ll do
1. Act as the embedded finance business partner for Keonn leadership.
2. Own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the business unit.
3. Partner closely with Sales to translate pipeline and bookings into forward‑looking revenue forecasts.
4. Lead reporting on bookings, backlog, shipments, and performance vs. targets.
5. Support monthly accounting close in coordination with local and corporate finance teams.
6. Build integrated P&L and balance sheet forecasts and support AOP and quarterly reviews.
7. Deliver clear financial insights to support decision‑making and growth.
What we’re looking for
8. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance business partnering.
9. Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience supporting Sales or revenue forecasting.
10. Solid understanding of accounting close processes.
11. Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus.
12. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
13. Comfortable working in an evolving, growth‑stage environment.
14. Background in technology, hardware, or manufacturing is preferred.
15. Fluent English required; Spanish and/or Catalan are a strong plus.
