Overview
Junior Marketing Assistant role at BD – join to support the sales team and contribute to marketing efforts through local educational programs. The position is temporal, approximately 1 year, with possibility of continuation.
Job Description
Main responsibilities will include:
* Provide administrative support to the sales team by managing events calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements and logistics.
* Maintain accurate records and databases related to HCP attendance to educational activities, including customer information, compliance requests and promotional materials.
* Assist in planning and executing internal meetings, educational events, and product launches.
* Coordinate with internal departments such as finance, human resources, and legal to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and provide updates on marketing initiatives.
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents as required.
* Handle incoming requests and inquiries related to finance and sales matters.
* Support the translation, review and distribution of marketing collaterals, including brochures, flyers, emails, and social media posts.
* Stay informed about new products, technologies, and market developments within the medical device industry.
About You
* Bachelor's degree or Vocational Education (Formación Profesional) or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.
* Validated experience (1 year) as an administrative assistant or similar role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Diligent approach with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
