We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Designer- Web to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

Position Snapshot:

Type of Contract: Permanent.

Type of work: Hybrid.

The Role:

We are looking for aSenior Digital Product Designerwith a passion for finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our digital products. The ideal candidate brings not only deep expertise across the full design process, but also a strategic mindset and the ability to lead design initiatives from insight to execution.

As a Senior Digital Product Designer at Nespresso HQ, you will take a leading role in shaping intuitive, visually refined, and conversion-focused experiences on Nespresso.com and beyond. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers, to deliver high-quality designs that align with our brand, user needs, and business goals.

By partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will turn insights into delightful experiences in a creative environment that requires proven leadership skills and the ability to execute a creative vision while applying the Nespresso digital design principles.

You will be conceiving and conducting user research, designing the overall functionalities of the company’s digital products, and iterating upon them to ensure a great user experience.

In This Role, You Will:

User-Centric and Data-Informed Design: Lead end-to-end digital design processes by integrating user insights and quantitative analytics to create innovative solutions and understand user journeys across channels.

Visioning and Brand Champion: Transform concepts into disruptive designs that embody effortless luxury and drive sales growth across 40+ markets.

Lead efforts in crafting adeep understanding of user journeys across various channels.

User Research and Design Solutions: Conduct thorough research to understand user needs, behaviors and, pain points; develop wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that enhance usability, accessibility, and engagement.

Collaboration and Cross-Platform Experience: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements and ensure design feasibility, creating cohesive, responsive solutions for a consistent user experience.

Usability Testing and Design System Advocacy: Organize qualitative user testing and A/B testing to refine designs; champion the design system for consistency and collaboration among peers.

Stay Informed and Innovate: Keep up with design trends, tools, and technologies, recommending their integration to foster innovation and relevance.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital product design.

A strong portfolio that demonstrates a strategic impact, leadership in design thinking, and the ability to deliver complex design solutions, while showcasing digital design expertise with a keen understanding of aesthetics and functionality.

Demonstrated ability to advocate for design within the organization, influencing product strategy and aligning with business goals.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Familiarity with project management and collaboration software platforms, like Jira and Confluence.

Understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for presenting and discussing design decisions.

Experience in Agile environments and collaborating with diverse teams.

Ability to understand requirements and design complete user experiences.

Expert knowledge in user-centered design principles, UX/UI best practices, testing methodologies, and accessibility standards.

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

Strong visual storytelling ability to present design concepts and strategies at all organizational levels.

Deep understanding of design strategy and its application across global markets.

Previous experience in the Food & Beverage and Luxury Brand sectors is a plus.

A good understanding of mobile, design patterns and technical implementation aspects is a big plus.

Proficiency in motion design, animation, and video editing, with a keen interest in exploring generative AI tools and techniques.
