**PagoNxt is looking for an Operational Resilience Oversight (2LoD) Manager based in our Madrid/London office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As an **Operational Resilience Oversight (2LoD) Manager **for the PagoNXT Payments business, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience requirements of a fast growing payments technology business are being well managed, achieving compliance with regulatory and internal risk management framework requirements.
The role will require you to:
- Build a strong understanding of the business’ operating model, newly establishing and implementing framework requirements under the strategic direction set by the Risk & Compliance Director;
- Ensure the business' compliance with regulations on services provided to customers, and relationships with vendors, especially Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) and Operational Resilience;
- Support the establishment of strong Business Continuity Management (BCM) discipline, evolving and adapting framework requirements, setting up workshops (e.g. Scenario Analysis, Business Impact Assessment) to facilitate education and training of key Technology and Operations roles; and
- Holistically review and challenge the business’ risk profile and control environment, supporting the business in the Identification, Assessment, Management and Reporting of Risks, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive remedial actions to enhance overall resilience
Success in this role requires:
- A proven ability to influence and build strong working relationships with Product Owners, IT architects, Service/Vendor managers and other supporting business areas
- A practical, innovative and collaborative mindset to find the right risk management solutions in a fast moving business environment
- A structured, organised and goal-driven work discipline
- Ability to take ownership and work autonomously
The line manager of the role is the Risk & Compliance Director of PagoNXT Payments.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk management, Risk governance and control frameworks within the Financial Services sector.
- Ideally, experience should cover both ‘Line 1’ and ‘Line 2’ risk roles, i.e. experience in development and implementation of risk control frameworks and methodologies, as well as hands-on management of risks within the business.
- Must have experience managing and delivering objectives related to Business Continuity Management and Operational Resilience.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Fluency in English is essential, Spanish is desirable but not required
- Strong knowledge of relevant external regulations, in particular Operational Resilience, OCIR, GDPR, EBA Outsourcing, and other relevant supervisory statements
- Strong understanding of, and intellectual curiosity in payments services technology and operations
- Good knowledge of industry best practices in the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management
- Proven track record interpreting and implementing risk frameworks
- Ambition to learn and develop new knowledge and skills at the intersection of Payments, Regulation, Technological developments, including closely related disciplines in IT & Cyber risk management
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into practical risk management outcomes
- Proven ability to find pragmatic solutions which balance Risk & Compliance requirements with business growth
OTHER INFORMATION
- The position is based in the UK (London) or Spain (Madrid), with remote working flexibility
- Occasional traveling requirements (single digit overall per annum, mainly between UK and Spain)
