Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Barcelona team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, proactive in outbound prospecting, and skilled at qualifying inbound leads. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a crucial role in generating pipeline for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels to generate new business opportunities in international markets.
* Manage and respond to inbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up and thorough qualification.
* Understand potential clients’ needs, pain points, and business goals to determine fit with RateGain solutions.
* Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.G., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve lead quality.
* Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs related to outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created.
* Represent RateGain professionally and create a strong first impression with prospects.
Qualifications
* Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is mandatory.
* 1–2+ years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar sales role (preferably in SaaS or travel tech).
* Strong outbound sales skills, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
* Experience handling and qualifying inbound leads.
* Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and articulating value propositions clearly.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (e.G., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot).
* Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
