Testing Specialist (Fix-discontinuous)
Main purpose:
The role is responsible of supporting the vegetable breeding pipeline with most advanced Testing practices to ensure success of products advancements, through supporting all operations activities related with internal and external trials, planning and execution of needed external trials and collection of phenotypic data.
This position will be supporting the Testing research associates and Breeding specialist from the Testing team to deliver creative solutions to complex business problems using advanced field operations, equipment, analytics, and cutting-edge automation techniques.
Key deliverables include: (i) Operations that will allow to enable decisions that drive pipeline advancement and placement; (ii) deliver our integrated product system commercial portfolios to address market needs with the highest data quality.
Key tasks and responsabilities
Create an integrated management team ensuring correct day-to-day operations for the grower field trials Effective collaboration with Testing research associates and Testing Breeding specialist, pipeline enablement associates, breeding operations, execute quality data collection and entry into enterprise systems, Support successful planning to generate needed testing trials and quality data for product advancement and efficient functioning of the breeding programs Collect data pipelines applying the most advanced phenotyping tools supporting the pipeline data generation Proactively identify opportunities to assist in improving established procedures, and lead troubleshooting activities through root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques

Local and Regional functional Veg R&D teams for Testing, Analytics, Discovery and Pathology, Innovations and New Technologies Testing Research Associates, Breeding specialist, Breeders, commercial breeders, MD and Sales Automation Engineering, IT Local leads of other breeding teams Qualifactions & Competencies Education: Agronomic studies, B. S in Plant Breeding, Crop Science or related field Demonstrated abilities to execute breeding project plans, analyze and interpret breeding data. Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment. Manages multiple projects and priorities Capacity to communicate and work effectively with all management levels in a multi-cultural organization. Strong strategic and analytical skills and understanding of how to apply them to achieve business results.
