As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of our technical service team in your assigned area in Spain, providing technical support to our local customers. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment.
What you will do:
1. Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance activities.
2. Conduct training sessions internally and externally as needed.
3. Complete service reports accurately, including time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location), reverse flow, billing block code, and billing request confirmation.
4. Actively promote and sell M-I service products to our customers, enhancing application uptime and maximizing sales results, while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with the Sales team to support sales revenue targets and growth, building strong relationships with sales colleagues.
6. Travel to customer sites within your assigned area, with occasional national travel for training and meetings.
What you need to have:
* At least 2-3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
* Ability to assess technical situations and proactively advise on solutions.
* Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
* Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* High proficiency in Spanish and intermediate English skills.
* Relevant certifications in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Networking, Vision cameras, or software capabilities.
* Expert knowledge of technical products, ideally including Markem-Imaje’s product range.
