Software Engineer Data Quality

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Technical Specialist to join our Data Management & Governance team. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain data quality solutions that ensure our enterprise data is accurate, consistent, and reliable. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, translate them into technical solutions, and align with the product roadmap.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Implement data quality frameworks and rules using Ataccama ONE DQ.
Perform data profiling to assess data health and identify anomalies.
Build and maintain data quality scorecards, dashboards, and automated monitoring systems.
Collaborate with Data Domain Owners and business units to implement data quality standards and rules.
Configure data cleansing, standardization, and matching logic for structured and semi‐structured data.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in DQ workflows, performance, and integration.
Contribute to the integration of Ataccama with our data platform and enterprise data catalog.
Document processes, rules, and procedures related to data quality management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years' experience implementing data quality frameworks and rules using Ataccama ONE DQ or similar tools.
Strong hands‐on experience in configuration and development of workflows, integrations, and APIs.
Proven track record in data governance, data management, and data quality initiatives.
Proficient in SQL, data profiling, and quality rule definition.
Experience with relational databases, data lakes, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience in enterprise‐level software development, including configuration and customization of platforms.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross‐functional teamwork.
Experience in user support, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent problem‐solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred
Experience with Groovy scripting or Java for Ataccama customization.
Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL frameworks.
Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and regulatory compliance (GDPR).
