The Director of Customer Care & Logistics will lead operational strategies to ensure seamless order fulfillment, excellent customer experiences, and efficient logistics. This role involves managing relationships with warehouses and carriers, optimizing workflows, and enhancing service performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for process improvement, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead and develop a team of customer care representatives, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture. Oversee customer inquiries, order management, and issue resolution. Ensure timely invoicing and delivery. Build partnerships with warehouse providers and manage contracts, budgets, and workflows. Lead relationships with carriers, negotiate contracts, and optimize performance. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and leverage trade agreements.Process Improvement & Systems Management:
Serve as an ERP superuser, contributing to system enhancements. Define and monitor KPIs for customer care and logistics. Develop risk management strategies. Collaborate with Sales, IT, and Finance to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.Strategic Planning & Business Growth:
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on process improvements, cost savings, and risks. Support strategic initiatives and employee training. Lead or participate in logistics and customer care projects aligned with company goals.Qualifications & Skills
5-7 years of experience in logistics, customer care, or supply chain management, with leadership experience.Proven track record in operational excellence and process improvements.Experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery.Hands-on experience with third-party logistics, warehouses, and carriers, including contract negotiations.Proficiency in ERP systems and project management.Knowledge of international import/export regulations, trade agreements, and customs processes.Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.The role is based in Altafulla, Spain, with some international travel expected.J-18808-Ljbffr
